Here are a few of my favorite photos from Sara and Joe's wedding I shot in San Diego. I shot Sara's brother's wedding this past November. This is my fourth wedding I've shot in California. It's becoming a regular tradition! I can't complain though... I LOOOOOOVE California!! Any chance to go... you better believe I'm taking it! Can't wait to go again.

I feel truly honored to have been able to shoot Sara and Joe's wedding. I had a wonderful time!

In Register Magazine

So this is pretty exciting... the June issue of In Register magazine did an article on Nicole and Blake Sibley's wedding that I shot for Lucketts. And a couple of my photos are in the mag!! YAY! Pretty darn cool!

10 years

Yes, I like the band... but that's not what this blog post is about. :) It just hit me today that this year is my 10 year anniversary as a photographer!

Yes, 10 years ago... at the age of 15, I bought my first camera (with the help of my wonderful grandma). I worked at the 4h LSU mini farm taking care of stinky little animals for a week and made as much money as I could. My grandma said she would pay for the rest to help me get my camera. She was the one person I always remember believing in me, telling me I had "the eye" to be a photographer. If it weren't for her, I might not be a photographer today. :) I bought the Nikon N50 and used that thing for years!! It was an awesome camera even though it was good 'ol film.

Over the years I have learned so much and taken approximately 23,589,268,187 photos. (yes, I counted) ;) I am sooo happy I get to do what I love and what I'm super passionate about. Not only does expressing myself through my art make me happy, it's also an incredible blessing to be able to touch someone else's life with it. I love it!!

So I went and found the album that has some of my very first photos I took with my Nikon in it... and found a couple to show you all. Don't laugh! I was just starting out! I used my sister as a practice subject A LOT. Isn't she cute???




So happy anniversary to me! YAY! I can't wait to see how I've grown in my talent in 10 more years!!

Finally getting a min to blog something.

Here are twenty or so pictures from Nicole and Blake's wedding that I shot for Luckett Portrait Studio a few weeks back. I shot close to 700 so it was really hard to narrow it down to this few to blog them... They have tons of great shots!

I still have tons more material I want to blog... just no time to do it! Ahhhh!
