It's finally here!!

Okay, so I think the website is officially up for everyone (I hope!). It's taken me so long to get it finished but I kept my promise to myself and everyone that it would be up this month!! YAY!! It always feels sooooo good to accomplish your goals! I'm so very proud of the new site and hope you are able to enjoy it!

It's not 100% complete yet, but at least I got it online! Whew! I'll continuously be adding new material to it so always be sure to check back! I know in the past I haven't always been too diligent on keeping my website updated... But I promise this time that won't happen!

There are so many incredible changes coming up in my life which I am so excited about! A HUGE one is that I am finally going into business on my own. A lot of you know I have worked at another photography company for over 7 years. So this is a BIG DEAL! I cannot express how stoked out of my mind I am about this! I always knew it would happen one day... just never knew when! I can honestly say it's happening at the most perfect time in my life. God has truly been SOOOO GOOD to me! I cannot thank Him enough for the many things he has blessed me with. I truly feel like the luckiest girl on this planet. There are so many exciting things to come for me in 2009! As things unfold, I will be sure to share everything that is happening with you all!

Website error!

Okay, so apparently because my website server is switching over to a new company... it's having some issues right now. So some people are able to see the new site and some aren't. I am so sorry!! :( It should all be resolved hopefully by the end of the day! Keep checking back if you aren't able to see the new site!

It's a Christmas miracle! As I type this it's pouring snowing outside my window!! In LOUISIANA!! Ahhh!! It's SO BEAUTIFUL! I only wish I had a photo shoot scheduled this morning! I would LOVE that!!

Quick update

It's December 1st... I've been on vacation in Atlanta this past week for the Thanksgiving holidays and I did NOT want to come back and face reality! I was really enjoying not working, eating lots of delicious food, sleeping in, and spending time with amazing people. I have SO MUCH TO DO before this month ends... actually, I have to get it all done before Christmas! I'm so excited though because right after Christmas I am hopping on a plane to NEW YORK CITY for New Years! YEEAHH!!! I am soooo pumped! That is going to be such an amazing trip and I am geeked out of my mind about it!

ANYWHO-- I just wanted to let you know that I plan on launching my new website before December is over! I'm SUCH a perfectionist and the reason it's taking me so long to finish it is because I never feel like it's good enough, or complete. So I've just decided that I am just going to launch it even if I don't feel like it's done. No more putting it off, or excuses. Just going to do it. Period.

Wish me luck because this next month is literally going to be the busiest month my life has ever seen! Here we go!

I just got done shooting little Blakeleigh's pictures. I am wore out because she is a handful! But I just HAD to hurry up and put a couple of the pictures on here because they are ADORABLE!!! Blakeleigh's mom is my cousin, Chasity, whom I love love!! I'll have more later but for now...

Busy Little Bee

The rest of this month through December is going to be VERY busy for me! I'm just warning you! From now until New Years I have several weddings, photo shoots, my regular work schedule, lots of traveling, the holidays, etc!! But I have soooo many great shoots coming up that you are all going to just love! I am so very excited about it all, my brain is oozing with ideas that I can't wait to try out!! So I apologize now but I guarantee you this blog isn't going to get updated nearly as much as I will want it to in the next few weeks! Boooooo! I promise to try my very hardest even if it's just a teaser here and there. ;)

Life is going tremendously right now! Busy, but incredible! God is so good to me, I really don't know why sometimes... but what I do know is I am so grateful for it! He is an amazing Father and I am so lucky to be His child!!! I have never been happier than I am right now!

Way overdue!

Finally! Some time to blog! Get ready, cause this one is going to be a long one! I'm combining three different sessions into this one blog post! WHEW! It's all dedicated to families and children. I have more pictures to put on here, but this should give you all something to look at for a bit.

FIRST OFF! -- Emily and Jon's beautiful family! Okay so I love this girl. I have known Em for about 12 years now. She was homeschooled just like me and became one of my dearest friends! This girl is AMAZING!!! I can't say it enough... she was my inspiration and someone who truly impacted my life when I was a teenager. Em is truly a real lifelong friend. :) I love you EM!

She has a GORGEOUS family! They live in Houston now, but we managed to squeeze this session in at 7:30am on a Saturday morning while they were in town for business! I'm glad we did because look how great they all look!! ---

I shot Emily and Jon's wedding back in March 2001... which was one of the first weddings I ever shot. I had to dig and dig to find this picture, but it was well worth it! Good 'ol 35mm film! This was a totally candid moment by the way!




NEXT -- Keesha and Aaron! I met Keesha a couple of years ago. I was supposed to shoot her wedding, but she had to change her date on me and I was already booked on that particular date so I wasn't able to! Which was a huge bummer for not only her, but me! However, I was able to shoot her bridal and engagement though and we totally hit it off and have been friends ever since! I love it when clients turn into friends! Keesha and I have a lot of laughs and always have a great time together as well as great conversations. She is a huge support in my life and has a great heart! She has a beautiful family!
