I Heart California

I spent part of this past week in sunny San Diego, California. And I had SO MUCH FUN! I was flown in to shoot a wedding (those photos will come later) and while I was there I decided to take advantage of the beautiful place and do a photoshoot of my friends Dan and Jess. I've known Dan since we were little kids living in the jungles of Peru. Wow, that was a long time ago. Man, good times.... good times. Dan grew up and married a BEEE YOU TEA FULL girl. Not only is she gorgeous, but has such an awesome personality. Her and I are alot alike ( wink wink Jess ;) ) You scored good Dan. I love you both! Anyways, ever since I met Jess I've always wanted to photograph her. I knew the instant I met her she'd be so much fun to work with. And boy was I right! I'm not sure if I've ever had more fun on a photoshoot. She was such a natural with the camera. I've been wanting to shoot a girl having fun in a wedding gown and not worry about it getting messed up. I got this gown for her to wear and it fit her perfectly! I was ecstatic about that.

I shot about a million photos of her and Dan but here are just a few of my favorites. It was soooo hard to narrow them down. They did soooo well!!!

Last night I photographed the sweetest couple! Remember Nicole?? Her wedding was last night and I got sooo many great pictures! Her and her groom Blake are sooo sweet! (It doesn't hurt that they are both photogenic either!) Neither one of them stopped smiling all night. I had a great time. I absolutely love photographing weddings. Especially when the couple is so happy like Blake and Nicole. They were a truly inspiring, lovely couple.

Now that I've teased you all... I just wanted to let you know I will post some of their pictures, as well as many other shoots I'm doing in the near future! I have so many fun things coming up! Keep checking!

This little girl is too cute! She is so serious sometimes, and then other times she will start laughing and cracking up at who knows what?!? It's ADORABLE! Sailor's parents are my really good friends Michael and Autumn. I love this family so much!

My cousin's beautiful baby, Blakeleigh. She is such a hard kid to shoot because she is soooo active!!!! She will literally not sit still for more than 2 seconds. It's insane! Ahhhh! I can't wait til she is 3! Love this photo from the shoot though... :) Click to see it bigger.

Went to New Orleans to shoot my friends Justin and Zoe's engagement pictures. It was alot of fun! Justin is quite hilarious and made us laugh ALOT. :) Here are just a few of my favorites.
